About the Methow Arts Festival...
Methow Arts has produced the Methow Arts Festival since 1989. Held on the 4th of July, this community event features high caliber entertainment all day on the stage, as well as hands-on-art booths (hosted by a professional artists from the AIR roster for Okanogan region) for children and adults. Each year an artist is also chosen to create a design for the posters and t-shirts. Throughout the day this art piece is available for bid by silent auction.
Methow Arts works in combination with the Town of Twisp, the Twisp Chamber, The Methow Valley News, The Twisp Kiwanis, numerous local businesses, local artists, and over 80 dedicated volunteers to bring this festival to life.
Arts Fest 2007
Arts Fest 2007 features mainstage performances by Bakra Bata (Caribbean Steel Drums & Dance), the Jake Shaw Trio, and The Family Dog (Terry Hunt, Phil Woras, Todd Eberline, John Weeks and friends).

Bakra Bata brings the sights and sounds of the Caribbean to life through traditional and contemporary
Caribbean theatre, masquerade, stilting, dance, steel drums, colorful costumes, and masks.

1. Community Art Event.
2. Watercolor World: Watercolor under the big tent with Patty Yates.
3. Wearable Art: Masks and Crowns.
4. Bangle Fandango: Bottlecap Art with Tori Karpenko.
5.Rag Dolls: Dolls made from found and recycled materials.
6. Float Your Boat: Wooden Boats.
7. Suncatchers: with Laura Ruud.
8. Face Painting & Henna Tattoos: Body art for all ages.
9. Young At Art: Imagination stations for the very young.
10. Tie-dying: with Terry Dixon.
